About Us
MediRegs® was founded in 1998, after the founding partners sold their previous venture, Counterpoint Publishing, Inc. to Thomson Legal Publishing (now West). Counterpoint was the first company to put the Federal Register, and updated CFR, on CD-ROM and on the Internet.
MediRegs was established in response to the requests of numerous Counterpoint customers for a solution to the problem of managing health care compliance information. In October 2002, MediRegs acquired the assets of IHS Health, and the product line was expanded to include pharmaceutical, medical device, and food compliance information.
