The ICD-9 Coordination and Maintenance Committee convened in Baltimore on March 9-10 to consider proposed changes to ICD-9-CM Procedure Codes for 2012. The outcome of this meeting includes the Committee to implement a partial freeze of the ICD-9-CM and ICD-10 codes prior to the implementation of ICD-10 on October 1, 2013. The partial freeze will be implemented as follows:
