On the left-hand navigation pane of the Coding & Revenue Resource Center, the Audit & Revenue Resource Center, and the Regulation & Reimbursement Suite, you will find a new RAC ISSSUES link. This sortable table outlines the types of issues being investigated by the 4 Recovery Audit Contractors.

Individual RAC Issues and Index

In the State contractor libraries, and the Coding Guidance Library, we also have a collection for each RAC that includes a sortable index of issues and a separate page for each issue. We've provided helpful resources, and lists of related CPT, ICD-9-CM or MS-DRG codes to assist save customers research efforts.

Automatic Searching

When you search your state contractor library, or the Coding Guidance library, you will automatically access this information. This includes HCPCS code searches executed from the Coding Guidance link in Advanced Code Explorer.
