FY 2011 (10/01/2010) is coming up fast, and we've got you covered on the Regulation & Reimbursement Suite and Coding Suite.  The Inpatient Final Rule in E-Book format is ready to use, and the 2011 ICD-9-CM and 2011 MS-DRG Pre-released codebooks are available.  Also, you can get a head start on understanding ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS with a comprehensive book available now.  Watch your daily e-mail alert, or visit the Inpatient, Coding, or Coding Guidance libraries for access to these resources.

What is a Regulatory E-BOOK?

The Inpatient Final Rule E-Book breaks hundreds of pages of the regulatory update down by chapter and section, to make reading, searching and bookmarking easy.  CMS often includes important supporting tables and documentation that are NOT published with the regulation in the Federal Register; we've included those in the E-Book.  Finally, this year, there have been multiple updates, technical amendments and corrections brought about by Health Reform; all related regulatory issuances are in this single E-Book so you can see the complete 2011 update without jumping around!

What is a Pre-Release CodeBook?

The ICD-9-CM and MS-DRG Codebooks are available in "Pre-release" format, which means you can get started understanding the changes way before the implementation date.  This year, we've done a comprehensive analysis of new, deleted and modified codes, and have included a free comprehensive data file which denotes all 2011 valid ICD-9-CM diagnosis codes, with CC/MCC, age, gender, and other edit flags. Both ICD-9-CM and MS-DRG Codebooks include guidelinese, indexes to codes, a glossary of terms, a download center and an update/changes report.
