2010 Electronic Procedure Codebook is ready

 The Coding Suite team is pleased to announce that the 2010 HCPCS and CPT Codebook is available in pre-release format.  Customers with access to the Coder's Resource Center, Coding & Revenue Resource Center, or Audit and Revenue Resource Center will find the link to the codebook on the Welcome tab (RRS customers, click on the Codebooks link on the left-hand navigation pane.  Also, watch your Daily E-Mail Alert for the updates and changes report, a simple way to quickly see which codes have been added, deleted and modified.  More tips for 2010 changes:

• If you have bookmarks in the 2009 Codebook, you do NOT need to move them. When you log in after January 1, the links will automatically take you to the 2010 codebook.
• If you want to download the HCPCS codes, you have 2 easy options:  Go to the 2009 Codebook download center for a great colorized report that highlights changes OR go to the Downloads Center to access Coding Comply to generate your own custom export with revenue code crosswalk included.
• The 2010 Outpatient, ASC and Physician Fee Schedule final rules will be published next week; as soon as official Addenda files are available, that new data will be available in the 2010 codebook pages.
• Try doing an ADVANCED "ANY OF" search for the new HCPCS Level II and IV codes.  Store this search so that we can automatically update you when new guidelines from CMS and your MAC are available.
